Tributes:
Former ballroom dancer and philanthropist, Genevieve Grace McDavitt Orsinger,
passed away December, 2005. Martha Oestreich recently made a gift to San
Antonio Dance Umbrella as a tribute to the woman she affectionately called
Aunt Genevieve. The gift was made to support the 2006 SADU dance festival,
Dance Around the World. She believed it was a fitting tribute to a great
woman and great dancer who enjoyed traveling the world.
To join these individuals
in their support of SADU, please see our Membership page.
San Antonio Dance Umbrella is also funded in part by the City of San Antonio Office of Cultural Affairs and Texas Commission of the Arts.
