Portable Floor Rental The floor is a floating floor, which means it is supported and sits on 2" wide boards. The floor goes together in 4' x 8' sections and locks down once it is put in place. The full floor is 24' x 24'. It can be configured to different widths and lengths depending on the space. The floor is hardwood maple and is great for all dance, but probably not ideal for pointe shoes. It is heavy and requires labor to load, unload & transport. Renting a Uhaul truck costs approximately $29.95 + tax for 24 hours. Hired labor can range from $50 - $75. Doug Philips will show whomever how to assemble the floor.
