The San Antonio Parks & Recreation Department offers dance classes to adults and children.  To find more information on their programs, please go to their website.  

Fandango, a group sponsored by this organization, offers young dancers the opportunity to continue their study of Spanish Flamenco and Mexican Folklorico dance traditions. The dancers audition for the troupe and range in age from 11 to 19. Auditions are held annually in the fall. The troupe has performed in Germany and Mexico as well as the United States. They perform regularly during the summer at the Arneson River Theatre.

Alamotion, another group headed by this organization, specializes in tap, jazz, hip hop and ballet. The troupe also performs during the summer months at the Arneson River Theater, with local talent providing vocals and acting as emcees. The show features group, ensembles and solos. Auditions are held annually, usually in the fall, and are open to youth 11 - 19 years of age.
